This is the only brand of jig saw blades that I have in my shop. As long as Bosch keeps selling these quality blades made in Switzerland I won't even consider any other brand. This applies to the several other tooth designs that I keep on hand--all Bosch--all good blades.
Also it's easier to mark out on the top side. I used these with a Bosch jig saw to cut laminate counters after they were installed. I used 3/4 plywood under the laminate counter, so the overall thickness where the holes were cut was 1 -1/2 inches. They were the post form type, and it made the whole job much easier cutting out sink holes from the top (no chips at all). Avoids flipping over a counter after cutting a large sink hole in the middle. The blades may work in a standard jig saw but I did not try them. I ordered the countertops from hd, ready-made from the fabricator, straight runs of counter only, and recommend this approach -if you only do counter tops every 20 years or so.
